Badia a Seventh located near Florence in the town of Scandicci. Inside lies the Abbey of St. Saviour which was founded by Lothair of Cadolingi, in the early eleventh century. The arrival of the monks must first of all to Cadolingi then after alternating with the Benedictines and Vallombrosan Cluniac. The monks Vallombrosiani date back to 1060, when San Giovanni Gualberto was called by William Bulgarian.
